Josephine Picture

I was playing with a black backdrop with Josephine and had to post this pic. I've been thinking of shooting more of my portraits of younger children with a black backdrop the way I did at the beginning of my career - 12 years ago! It's such a great classic look in Black and White.

I love her crazy hair.

"After the Day" Wedding Shoot in New Bedford

I've just been going through the "after the day" wedding shoot I did in New Bedford this past winter and I can't believe how much I love these pics. This was from the fabulous storm wedding I did with the uber-cool florist http://www.chadmichaelpeters.com/ in November. I had planned to do portraits of the bride and groom after the wedding regardless of the storm, just because we thought it would be great to wander around the New Bedford Historic District (always a dream of mine to do this with a bride and groom).

I LOVE doing portraits of the bride and groom the "day after" (or even later) since we have the time to do amazing portraits without the time constraints of the wedding day. Any of my past brides (or future brides) who want to put their dresses back on and do this, call me for a free shoot. It is just such a great opportunity for me to do interesting pictures! I'm going to post a slideshow of this shoot next week, but couldn't contain myself posting some of the shots now!
